Last night was an exciting one for those of us who learned about feeding the leeches and the role that gatekeepers will play in the duck's ecosystem. I've got all the juicy details to share, so let's dive in!

What Happened?!

Lacsap found some leeches hanging out by the gatekeeper's door in the desert. In order to keep the leeches fed, he knew he needed more 2nd Gen ducks. That's why he offered the vaccine and bag - to help grow the population of 2nd gen ducks and keep the leeches happy.

Here's the thing about the Fat Potions: every time you feed a 2nd gen duck with one, it's like feeding an extra soul to the leech. So for example, if you feed a 2nd gen that's had three fat potions, it's like feeding four souls in total to the leech.

The feeding window is open until October 31st.

Here's how to feed your leeches:

1. Send your 2nd gen duck to the burn address

2. Share the transaction details in the feeding channel in Discord

Gatekeeper FAQs

How do I get a Gatekeeper?

Here’s what you need to do:

NOTE: BOTH Demons have to be the same type/chamber!

1. Send 1 Demon Duck to the Burn Address

2. Post the transaction in the #gatekeepers channel in Discord

3. Post the number of the Demon Duck that will be changed into a Gatekeeper

What if my demon is part of my Eternal War team?

If your demon is already registered on a team, you have until the start of the tournament to switch out the demon.

I like my leech as it is, do I have to feed it?

No, you can keep your leech but the more you feed your leech the better it’s ranking will be.

If my 2nd Gen has other potions, will they do anything to my leech?

No, only the fat potion matters when feeding your leech.

Can I feed my Golden 2nd Gen Duck?

Yes, you can but it is not recommended.

Can I feed my leech an egg before it hatches?

Yes, you can. It will only count as one soul.

Can I still burn hells to make demons?

Yes.
