Decoupling Platform Updates

Over the past several days, Duckmaster has been working hard with the coding team to address problems with the decoupling platform. The platform was originally created using a third-party platform called Alchemy. When Duckmaster announced that the burning feature would be paused on March 11, it was because it was not triggering the required notifications.

Despite multiple attempts to contact Alchemy, the team did not receive any response. Consequently, the Nonconformist Ducks’ team decided to switch to a new platform. This was a major undertaking that normally takes months, but the team was determined to complete it within just 48 hours.

However, the good news is that as of this morning, the decoupling platform is back to normal and users can continue burning their ducks. The team has worked tirelessly to fix the issue and ensure that the platform is fully functional.

IP Rights

Building a brand and protecting your intellectual property rights can be a lot of work. But Duckmaster and the team are exploring ideas to bring value to your ducks through the decoupling platform.

There are three main reasons why the decoupling platform is important for the ducks. Firstly, when people have a personal attachment to a specific Duck, they are less likely to sell or drop it. This means that the value of the Duck is less likely to decrease due to speculation.

Secondly, the platform has a burn mechanism that allows multiple ducks to be burned at once, which helps to keep the project deflationary. This means that the value of the remaining ducks can increase over time.

Finally, and the most important reason is that the team is working with intellectual property rights to bring value to the collection of ducks. This is a complex process, but the team is exploring ways to create the best use cases for the IP rights of the best ducks in the collection. The goal is to find ways to create value for the collectors.

The team is exploring many opportunities, including partnerships with wineries, distilleries, and other food-related industries. These collaborations could provide new ways to showcase the value of the ducks in the collection.

Overall, the team is dedicated to creating a platform that provides real value to its users. As they continue to explore new opportunities and partnerships, the value of the ducks on the platform will only continue to increase.

Cookie Update

A new window will be opening this week for Ducks to send in their cookies to gain Angels and Zombies that can be used for the OG side of The Eternal War.

Currently, Freeroll is closed, while Commander OG remains open. However, Commander Hell is currently closed.

The Nonconformist Ducks’ team is also looking at potential changes for how you can join the Commander side. One possible option that they are exploring is adding $QUACKS as an option to join the Commanders. There will be more details once it's time to sign up for the next round.

Upside Ducks

Duckmaster also stated the importance of Upside Ducks in The Nonconformist Ducks' ecosystem during the Twitter Space. According to Duckmaster, Upside Ducks are the key players that make a significant difference for your team in The Eternal War. Class A and Class B ducks are especially valuable players, with Class A ducks being extremely powerful.

In addition to their significance in The Eternal War, Upside Ducks are also essential on the decoupling platform. They generate the most $QUACKS and are the only ducks that can steal traits, making them a vital component of the Nonconformist Ducks' ecosystem.

As The Nonconformist Ducks’ team moves forward, more updates will be revealed. Nonetheless, it is clear that Upside Ducks will continue to play an important role, providing players with significant benefits and advantages both in The Eternal War and on the decoupling platform.

Gatekeepers

During the Twitter Space, Duckmaster was asked about when Gatekeepers will start producing more $QUACKS and what will be the baseline. Here’s what we know so far.

Firstly, it's important to note that the leeches are just a pre-reveal, and the final reveal will take place on Halloween. Until then, the leeches will generate a set amount of $QUACKS.

After Halloween, the gatekeepers will update and be divided into three stages based on the number of aspirated souls they have consumed. This will determine how many $QUACKS they will receive. It's important to note that even if you have a leech with 0 aspirated souls, it will still accumulate more $QUACKS than two demons combined.

The baseline for gatekeepers will be based on the number of aspirated souls they have consumed. As the number of aspirated souls increases, so will the $QUACKS generated by the gatekeeper.

Ducks Reunion Update

Duckmaster announced that the upcoming Ducks Reunion will be moving to a new location. Following a vote, it was decided that the event will take place on a cruise departing from Miami. While the exact dates are still being finalized, it is anticipated that the reunion will take place towards the end of May or in June. Further details are expected to be released soon, as the team continues to work on the event plans.
