#129: Introducing Plumaje: A New Chapter for NoncoDucks

Raise a Glass: NoncoDucks' Plumaje Malbec Marks a New Milestone

On September 25, 2023, Duckmaster introduced Plumaje, the premier Malbec wine from Mendoza, Argentina, brought to you by Noncoducks. The community got its first hint of this exciting new product with Pond Map 5.0, which highlighted vineyards on Mandora Island. Although the initial plan was to launch in Florida, Vercho’s efforts expanded Plumaje’s reach to the entire USA.

Following extensive preparation, presales kicked off on July 22, 2024, with 300 cases available at a 20% discount. The response was swift, with over 100 bottles sold within hours and more than 200 bottles sold in the first week.

To mark the launch, Diduck designed a special 1/1 Upper Class Duck to be raffled to one lucky pre-sale buyer. Each case of wine purchased equals one chance to win.

About Plumaje

Origin:

Plumaje hails from the Tupungato Valley in Valle de Uco, Mendoza, Argentina. The Uco Valley is celebrated for its exceptional Malbecs, and Plumaje aims to continue this tradition of excellence.

Body and Structure:

The wine is aged for 12 months, with half the time in French Oak and half in American Oak.

Aromas and Flavors:

Expect red and black fruit notes, chocolate, and vanilla, with a range of flavors including raspberries, cherries, strawberries, and spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Oak notes include vanilla and cedar, with earthy flavors like mushrooms and leather. Tannins give a dry finish.

Impact on the Duck Community

Owners of Upper Class or Gatekeeper ducks will benefit from a share of Plumaje’s profits. A referral code system will reward active participants, and additional RWAs will support ducks.

Plumaje is just the start, with the Web3 Bodega coming soon to:

  • Provide Web3 communities with new income opportunities.

  • Reward those who engage and spread the word.

NoncoDucks assets involved include:

  • Upper Class: Participation in Plumaje Wine.

  • Vegas Duck: Involvement in Web3 Bodega.

  • Gatekeepers: Access to all areas.

So, whenever Duckmaster said it would be worth it to burn a duck or acquire a tool from Lacsap, it indeed was. Suitcases sent OG Ducks and Hell Ducks on vacations, leaving holders uncertain of the outcome, but it was worth it. Minting passports to upgrade an OG Duck to Upper Class proved valuable, and participating in races led to acquiring vodka, resulting in Vegas Ducks, not to mention all the months of burning 2nd gen ducks for Gatekeepers—worth it all.

True innovation takes time, and the team’s perseverance has paid off.

This is just the beginning. There’s more to come, so grab your Upper Class Ducks, order a case of Malbec wine, and get ready for what’s next!
